Rakhi Sawant had accused her husband Adil Khan of having an extramarital affair with a woman called Tanu.
She’d also alleged that Adil had neglected Rakhi’s mother’s treatment while indulging in debauchery with Tanu. She accused Adil of having multiple criminal records.
Rakhi had also claimed domestic abuse – that Adil had kicked her while she was pleading with him. She said that he pushed her forcefully when she begged him which made her pee herself.
Sawant stated to the media that Adil had left her for Tanu and was living in the latter’s house in Imperial Heights.
(Tanu is allegedly an IIT business woman from Indore, who has even dabbled in acting, as per Rakhi’s previous claims)
Adil Khan has now been arrested by the Oshiwara Police Station after Rakhi’s complaint. Police have filed an FIR under IPC Sec 406 ( criminal breach of trust) and IPC 420 (Cheating). Rakhi alleged he has taken her money and jewellery.
Rakhi revealed that he had been arrested multiple times before as many cases were filed on him. Before he got arrested, Rakhi-Adil were papped at an eatery dining together. He had come to ask for her forgiveness but she said she’ll never forgive him.
