Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case Latest News – She Had A History Of Depression, Anxiety

20-year old actress Tunisha Sharma had died by suicide on the sets of her TV show Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul.

The Post-mortem report stated ‘hanging’ as the cause of death. Her co-star & ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan was arrested on the charge of abetment to suicide, after Tunisha’s mother filed a case against him.

Tunisha-Sheezan Broke Up, 15 Days Later She Died By Suicide

Tunisha and Sheezan were the lead pair of Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul and they were dating in real life as well. However, Sheezan decided to break up with Tunisha as he was allegedly “disturbed by the atmosphere in the country” after Shraddha Walkar’s murder.

Tunisha-Sheezan Age Gap –

The duo had a big age gap of 8 years; she was 20 and he was 28 years old. The age difference as well as the fact that they belonged to different communities were some of the reasons leading to their break-up.

ACP Jadhav who is working on this case clarified that there wasn’t any angle of blackmail or Love Jihad.

Tunisha Had History Of Anxiety & Depression –

The tragic incident happened 15 days after the pair had broken up. As per reports, Tunisha has had a history of depression and anxiety. She was on medication for the same around 2018.

Tunisha felt emotionally broken after losing her father, her cousin and her grandmother at a young age, and that’s when she was diagnosed with the disorders.

“That’s when I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I remember when I just started medication, I had turned into a zombie. I hated going to work. Then later, social media also began to affect me; I replaced an actor in a show and started getting comments full of hatred. All of this took a toll on me,” Tunisha had commented.
