The 200-crore scam case of Sukesh Chandrashekhar deepens!
Both Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in the case. And now, 4 other ACTRESSES are also on the agency’s radar.
As per Hindustan Times, the names that have cropped up now are – Nikita Tamboli, Chahatt Khanna, Sophia Singh and Arusha Patil.
Nikki Tamboli –
As per ED officials, Nikki was given ₹3.5 lakh and a Gucci bag by Sukesh. She met the conman while he was in Tihar jail. Sukesh had introduced himself as Shekhar, a big producer. He told her he was stuck in jail to a scandal and would get bail soon.
“During the first meeting in April 2018, the accused Pinky Irani (associate of Sukesh) received an amount to the tune of ₹10 lakh in cash from Sukesh Chandrasekhar, out of which she gave cash to the tune of Rs. 1.5 lakh to Nikita Tamboli.
On the second occasion, after two to three weeks of her first meeting, she went alone to meet Sukesh Chandrasekhar where she was given cash to the tune of ₹2 lakh and one Gucci Bag by the accused Sukesh Chandrasekhar,” the official said.
Chahat Khanna –
Badey Acche Lagte Hain actress Chahat Khanna also met Sukesh at Tihar jail. Pinky introduced Sukesh to her as Shekhar Reddy, the owner of South Indian Channel. Chahat was given Rs 2 lakh in cash and a blue colored Versace watch.
Sophia Singh & Arusha Patil –
Similarly, actresses Sophia Singh and Arusha Patil were also lured, under the guise that Sukesh was a bigshot producer. Sophia received 3.5 lakhs and an LV bag. Arusha, on the other hand, received Rs 5.20 lakh, from which she transferred 1 lakh to Pinky.
The Delhi Police will be summoning these actresses to gauge their connection in the scam.
