Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen recently made the headlines for dating Lalit Modi.
Lalit Modi posted a picture with Sushmita Sen last week on social media while referring to her as his ‘better half‘.
After making the announcement, Modi clarified that he is not married to her, however, but a lot of negative trolls and comments dropped in after Lalit broke the internet with this announcement.
Several social media users mocked Lalit’s appearance and labeled Sushmita Sen as a ‘gold digger‘.
Sushmita Sen took up to her social media and reacted to all the trolls. As per reports, the actress said, “I dig deeper than gold…and I have always (famously) preferred diamonds, she wrote in a post on July 17. “And yes I still buy them myself.”
The actress describes these negative comments as ‘cheap gossip’. “I love the support my well-wishers and loved ones continue to extend. Please know, your Sush is absolutely fine.. because I’ve never lived on the transient borrowed light of approval and applause. I am the Sun….perfectly centred in my being and my conscience,” Sen added.
Even Modi reacted to the trolls, saying, “I guess because there are no libel suits in our country every journo is trying their best to be Arnab Goswami — the biggest clown.”
