Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma has landed in legal trouble.
A case been filed against the Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon actor in a NY court for breaching a contract.
As per TOI, Sai USA Inc has filed a lawsuit against Kapil Sharma for breaching his contract of North America tour in 2015.
Amit Jaitly, a well-known promoter of shows in America, allegedly claimed that Kapil was paid for six shows, but he only performed five. He also reported that the comedian had promised to pay up for the loss.
The promoter reported to TOI –
“He did not perform and has not responded although we tried several times to get in touch with him before the court.”
He also alleged that a case is pending at the NY court and the company would ‘definitely be taking action against him’.
Kapil is currently on a Canada-US tour with his team – Sumona Chakravarti, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and Krushna Abhishek. The team has performed in Vancouver and Toronto.
