Popular TV actor Karanvir Bohra has landed himself in legal trouble.
As per reports, Karanvir has been booked by the Mumbai Police in an alleged financial cheating case.
According to News18, a case has been registered against Karanvir and five other people in Oshiwara Police Station for allegedly duping a 40-year-old woman of Rs 1.99 crores after promising her a return at 2.5% interest.
Reportedly, the woman claimed only an amount of Rs 1 crore was returned.
The woman also claimed that when she asked for the mentioned amount, Karanvir and his wife, Teejay Sidhu, did not respond properly, as reported by India Today.
On the professional front, Karanvir was last seen in ALT Balaji’s controversial show ‘Lock Upp’ where he had opened up to be in huge debts.
On the show, he had also revealed that he was in a huge debt and had some cases filed against him after he failed to return the money.
