Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja Delhi home at Amrita Shergill Marg was robbed recently.
As per reports, the robbery took place on February 11 allegedly and an FIR was filed at the Tughlak Road Police Station on February 23.
Now, as per India TV, police have arrested Aparna Ruth Wilson (31) and her husband Naresh Sagar (31) on Wednesday (April 13) for allegedly stealing jewelleries and cash worth Rs 2.4 crores.
Reportedly, Aparna was working as a nurse of Sonam’s mother-in-law, whereas Naresh used to work as an accountant at a private firm in Shakarpur. The stolen jewellery and cash are yet to be recovered.
Talking about the arrest, a senior police officer told the media –
“Based on the questioning and inputs, we sent a team to Sarita Vihar where Wilson and Nagar were apprehended. They admitted to their crime and were arrested.”
As per the officer, the further investigation is still underway and most of the people working at the Amrita Shergill Marg house have been questioned. The FIR was registered under Indian Penal Code section 381 (theft by clerk or servant of property in possession of master).
