Prabhas plays the mysterious yet slightly high-handed palmist Vikramaditya – dude’s known as the ‘Einstein’ in his field. And his predictions of the future are ALWAYS unfalteringly true.

But it appears there is a fault in his own stars – he doesn’t have a love line himself. So he goes around telling the ladies that he’s not the ‘relationship’ type. However, Vikramaditya’s plans to stick to ‘flirtationship’ go right out the window when fate intervenes and throws Prerana (Pooja Hegde) his way.

What Do We Think:

Pooja Hegde-Prabhas | Radhe Shyam MOVIE REVIEW!
Pooja Hegde-Prabhas

First things first, Radhe Shyam is hella aesthetic. Prabhas-Pooja make for a damn good-looking couple. But that’s the only thing that it has got going for it.

The 1st half of the movie lags quite a bit and there’s not much substance to it. Bhagyashree and Kunal Roy Kapur are… just there. And the comedy kind of falls flat…maybe it was lost in translation in the Hindi version! But the 2nd half picks up in intensity and melodrama with a visually stunning, if cliched climax.

Going by the trailer, we were all excited by the grandeur that the film promised. A tighter screenplay would’ve done justice to the potential of this epic love story.

Music:

The ballroom dancing is a delight to watch in Main Ishq Mein Hoon! But we gotta say, we much rather prefer the Telugu versions of the songs. Ee Raathale is such an enchantingly beautiful song and we feel it beats Aashiqui Aa Gayi any day.

And the Beats Of Radhe Shyam is simply mesmerizing to both watch and hear.

Hit Or Miss:

Radhe Shyam is getting mixed reviews in the public court – and facing quite a bit of criticism for the flaky writing. But we feel it is a timepass enough watch. If you’re in the mood to see some grand, over-the-top, melodramatic, eye-pleasing romance, check out the film in theatres near you.
