Comedian Kapil Sharma is the hero for Nandita Das‘s upcoming movie.
Along with Kapil Sharma, the actress Shahana Goswami will also be starring in the movie as Kapil’s wife.
In this upcoming movie, Kapil Sharma will be seen playing the role of a food delivery rider.
As per reports, while talking about choosing Kapil for the role, Nandita says, “One day, Kapil Sharma popped up on my screen! I hadn’t seen his show, but I could see him wholly representing the ‘common man’, despite not being one anymore! I am certain he will surprise everyone, including himself, with his natural candidness.”
“I am very excited because I’m doing Nandita Das’s film, whom I have seen both as an actor and a director. My job as an actor is to just do what she tells me. Her work is very different from mine, and I am happy that the audience will get to see a new side of me,” says Kapil on being a part of this project.
The shooting of the film will start in Bhubhaneshwar, Orissa, later this month.
