Amrita Rao in a recent interview opened up about her career and some of the choices she made… and didn’t.
In 2011, Amrita had rejected director Aditya Chopra’s offer to become an in-house heroine; HERE’S WHY!
Talking about when she first watched Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Luv Ka The End’, she said, “Mujhe yeh lag raha tha ki aisi clean family film with Yash Raj mujhe kyun nahi mil rahi yaar (I wondered why I wasn’t offered a clean family film? I deserve it).”
Then finally in 2011, the actress got a meeting invite from none other than Yash Raj Film’s chairman and director Aditya Chopra who offered her to be an ‘in-house’ heroine! Amrita then explained how she had the ‘Rajshri imagine’ when Chopra added that his films that are not just for the family. He also asked her whether she had reservations about kissing onscreen or if she is willing to try ‘different things’ and that he would understand her decision irrespective.
