Aamir Khan‘s highly-anticipated movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, is the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks‘s ‘Forrest Gump’ (1994).
Directed by Advait Chandan, the Hindi adaptation is slated to hit theatres on Baisakhi, i.e. April 14, 2022!
Before the much-awaited theatre release, we hear that Aamir Khan will apparently hold a special screening in the US for Tom Hanks to know his opinion on the same.
According to a report, “Aamir Khan is planning to keep a special screening for Tom Hanks closer to Laal Singh Chaddha’s release. There is a buzz that closer to the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir would hold the screening for Tom Hanks in the US or travel there to personally show him the film. It is because he wants Tom Hanks to watch Laal Singh Chaddha and share his thoughts.”

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ chronicles the story of an intellectually disabled man and his journey from India’s Independence to the present day. In the movie, Aamir, between his journey from age 20 to 80, witnesses many historic events like Emergency, the 1983 Cricket World Cup, Operation Blue Star, the Rath Yatra, and the 1999 Kargil War & more.
