Sonu Sood has been the nation’s hero since the country was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
Now reports suggest that Sonu’s sister, Malvika Sood Sachar, is all set to enter into politics.
Malvika will be joining Indian National Congress Party. As per reports, Back in November 2021, Sonu Sood announced that his sister Malvika Sood will enter politics. His announcement came ahead of Punjab assembly polls, which are scheduled to take place next year. “My sister Malvika will be entering politics. She is ready and I have seen her service to people,” said Sood in a press conference.
Sonu Sood recently stepped down as the state icon of Punjab. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Like all good things, this journey has come to an end too. I’ve voluntarily stepped down as the State Icon of Punjab. This decision was mutually taken by me and EC in light of my family member contesting in Punjab Assembly Elections. I wish them luck for future endeavors.”
