The wedding is going to be a very private affair with several protocols in place – like no-phone, no pictures policy and NDA to maintain confidentiality. It was reported that all the secrecy was because VicKat are allegedly selling their wedding pictures’ rights to a leading magazine for a whopping amount!
100-Crore Offer?
Another interesting update is doing the rounds – that a 100-crore offer has been made to the couple from an OTT giant for their wedding footage.
“It’s a common trend in the west for celebrities to sell off their wedding footage and images to magazines and at times even channels, as there are a lot of fans who wish to witness all that happened in the life changing event of their idol. The streaming giant is planning to bring in the same trend in India too and to kick off their wedding franchise, they have offered Rs 100 crore to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal,” revealed a source to Pinkvilla.
The portal further reported that VicKat hasn’t yet decided on the offer and could either accept or let it go. Let’s wait and watch.
