Shikha Taslani and Swara Bhaskar were last seen together in 2018 for Veere Di Wedding along with Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
Now, reports suggest that Shikha Taslani and Swara Bhaskar have teamed up together for another movie.
The movie is based on friendship and is titled ‘Jahaan Chaar Yaar‘. As per reports, While talking about the movie, Shikha says, “It’s a film based on friendship shared between four friends, but the story also goes beyond that. It also turns into darkish comedy at some point in time. I can say that it is a never-seen-before buddy flick. Usually, subjects like these are set in urban settings, but this one is based in a rural setting. It’s based in a small town and all the women are shown as married women. It’s a completely different take on friendship films.”
The movie also stars Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra and will be shot in Mumbai and Goa.
Shikha also opened up about her work life in 2021. She says, “I have done three projects. Out of which two have been web shows which have released. And the film I am talking about is releasing next year. I am very happy that I was cast for that film and I could bring something new to the table. Otherwise, a lot of projects make me explore roles of woman that are facing body image issues (due to her real weight). Also, one of the web shows I did was in Marathi. I am happy to explore projects in different languages.”
