Tahir Raj Bhasin, who made his Bollywood debut as an antagonist in ‘Mardaani’, is currently gearing up for his upcoming big release ‘83’.
The actor has also made his mark in Hindi movies like ‘Force 2’ and ‘Chhichhore’.
On the other hand, the ‘Naagin’ fame Mouni Roy will reportedly be seen in a negative role in Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Brahmastra’. Now, if this media report is to be believed, Tahir & Mouni are collaborating for filmmaker Milan Lutharia’s upcoming web series for Disney+ Hotstar.
As the report further suggests, the project is said to be based on Arnab Ray’s book ‘Sultan Of Delhi: Ascension’. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, the yet-to-be-titled web drama also features ‘Tum Bin 2’ actress Neha Sharma in the lead.
Reportedly, ‘Sultan of Delhi Ascension’ tells the story of the son of a penniless refugee from Lahore who works his way up from being an arms smuggler in Uttar Pradesh to the most influential power broker in Delhi.
But when the shadows of the past – of a friend he has lost forever and of a woman he can never be with – finally catch up to him, he finds himself fighting the biggest battle of his life. For at stake is not just his iron hold over the government, but something even greater – his family…and his soul.
The series is expected to go on floors next month. An official announcement regarding the same will reportedly be made soon.
