Priyanka Chopra Jonas had hit the headlines after removing the name Jonas from her Instagram profile.
Just like Samantha had dropped Naga Chaitanya’s name from her profile before confirming her divorce, speculation started that PeeCee-Nick were also separating allegedly.
However, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra had rubbished the divorce rumours. And even Priyanka shut down the reports by dropping a lovey-dovey comment on Nick’s latest Insta post.
And if the latest Bollywood Hungama report is to be believed then this whole ‘removing name’ move has been for professional reasons allegedly.
“She is only dropping her two surnames for professional reasons. She wants to be known only as ‘Priyanka’. And from what we hear she may spell ‘Priyanka’ in a different way from now on. Apparently, it is an astrological decision,” a source said.
The source also rubbished the divorce reports by pointing out that she had dropped both ‘Chopra’ and ‘Jonas’ from Instagram, not just the marital name.
“Nick and Priyanka are very happy together. In fact, they are planning to have a baby soon,” the source concluded.
On the work front, PeeCee has Hollywood projects like ‘The Matrix Resurrections’, ‘Text For You’, and ‘Citadel’. And talking about Bollywood, she’s featuring in the ensemble starrer ‘Jee Le Zaara’ with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
