Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi were questioned by Enforcement Directorate in their probe against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Sukesh is said to be the mastermind behind the alleged 200-crore money-laundering case. Jacqueline and Nora were reportedly also scammed by Sukesh.
The actresses were summoned by the agency as WITNESSES, not accused. As per previous reports, it was said that both Jacqueline and Nora were made Sukesh’s target through his actress-wife Leena Paul.
Jacqueline also SLAMMED rumours of dating Sukesh and had issued an official statement ensuring her co-operation in the investigation.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s Statement In Money Laundering Case:
“Jacqueline Fernandez is being called to testify as a witness by the ED. She has duly recorded her statements and in future will also be completely co operating with the agency in the investigations. Jacqueline also categorically denies alleged slanderous statements made about relationship with the involved couple.”
As per Indian Express report Nora, too clarified that she too was a VICTIM in the case, and was not part of any money laundering. Her team said she was fully cooperating with the officials in their probe against the notorious fraudster Sukesh.
Nora Fatehi’s Statement In Money Laundering Case:
“On behalf of Nora Fatehi, we would like to clarify the various conjectures floating around amongst the media. Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and being a witness, she is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. We would like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity, she does not know or have any personal connection with the accused and has been called by ED to strictly help with the investigation.
We would like to request our fellow friends in the media to refrain from slandering her name and making any statements before any official information is released.”
