The very much awaited Bunty Aur Babli 2 trailer and release date is finally out and we can’t keep calm!
The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh as the leads.
While Rani resumes her character as Babli 17 years after the release of the first film, the rest of the cast is new. The film is directed by Varun V Sharma, who was the Assistant Director for the movies Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
Bunty and Babli oorf Vimmi and Rakesh leave the criminal life behind and raise their son in a typical loving home. But then crime strikes in town and all fingers point to these two. However, the real culprits (Siddhant and Sharvari), who seem to be using the ‘Bunty Babli’ brand name, unintentionally motivate the original owners of this name to strike back.
Talking about the film in an interview Rani says, “Both sets of con-couples are extremely intelligent. They are the best when it comes to wearing disguises because they are the best at conning people with this skill. In this film, they come face to face with each other and it’s a battle to watch out for!”

Saif talks about the film saying, “Films on con jobs have historically had great disguises and that’s half the fun. Nowadays we have prosthetics and makeup of a totally different level so people can expect really amazing get-ups and disguises from the cast and doing all that was a lot of fun.”
Siddhant says, “I have played so many avatars in just one film! When you do a film like Bunty Aur Babli, you promise people that they will get to see the lead actors in disguises to pull off elaborate cons and this film will over-deliver in this regard.“
