After Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Ananya Panday has come under Narcotics Control Bureau’s scanner.
She was questioned by the anti-drugs agency two days in a row after her name cropped up in Aryan Khan’s Whatsapp chats.
Her laptop and phone were seized by the officials. As per TOI report, NCB alleged that Khan’s old chats from 2018-19 reveal that Ananya helped supply drugs to Aryan thrice by providing him numbers of drug dealers.
Ananya Panday Denies Allegations: Says Was Just Joking
However, Ananya has strongly denied allegations of supplying drugs to Aryan and told the NCB officials that she has never consumed or supplied the drugs.
As per India Today report, NCB sources said – “Aryan was talking to Ananya about ganja and asking if there could be some ‘jugaad’ to arrange the weed. To this, Ananya Panday had replied, “I will arrange”.
When questioned about the alleged chat, Ananya had said, “I was just joking!”
India Today report also mentioned that Ananya told the NCB officials that she doesn’t know if weed was also a drug. And she insisted that the chat was about cigarettes and not drugs. Ananya allegedly said she hardly remembered as the chats were very old. (2018-19).
Ananya left the NCB office in the evening. She is to be questioned for the 3rd time on Monday (25 October).
Meanwhile, Aryan Khan is currently lodged in Arthur Road jail. His judicial custody has been extended till October 30. Bombay High Court will hear his bail application on October 26, 2021.
