Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla’s last rites were performed on Friday at Oshiwara Crematorium.
The 40-year-old actor, survived by mother Rita Shukla and 2 sisters, was said to have passed away due to a heart attack on September 2, 2021.
He was brought to Cooper Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. The Balika Vadhu actor’s family had clarified to the Mumbai Police earlier that they didn’t suspect any foul play and also assured that Sidharth wasn’t under any mental pressure.
Sid’s post-mortem also was conducted at Cooper Hospital. According to Mumbai Police sources, the post-mortem was recorded on a video. NDTV report states that no external or internal injuries were found on his body.
Chemical analysis of his viscera samples will confirm the cause of death – “A histopathology will be done and only after that the cause of death will be clear,” said the sources.
As per previous reports, it was being said that Sidharth had complained of uneasiness the night before his demise. His family had taken him to the hospital when he didn’t wake up in the morning.
From Balika Vadhu, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, Bigg Boss 13 to Broken But Beautiful 3 – Sidharth was a renowned personality in the showbiz. He had also acted in the Bollywood film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
May his soul rest in peace. Fans have been heartbroken seeing his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill distraught with grief at his funeral.
