It was recently announced that Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal‘s Oh My God is all set to have a sequel.
It was also reported that Pankaj Tripathi will be joining Akshay Kumar in the sequel. However, looks like some more details of the movie have been revealed.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “While the first film was based on religion, Oh My God 2 will be based in the Indian education system. Pankaj Tripathi will be seen playing the main protagonist while Akshay Kumar will return in his previous role as Lord Krishna.”

On being asked about the link between two parts, the source adds “The story of the film has been crafted in such a way that it will lend itself to the involvement of Akshay’s character, integrating the two seamlessly. The movie will also explore topics such as exam pressures and college admissions.”

The shooting for this movie began yesterday in Mumbai with Pankaj Tripathi. Yami Gautam has been roped in to play the female lead.
