Amitabh Bachchan & Emraan Hashmi are all set to entertain the audience with their upcoming film ‘Chehre’.
Directed by Rumi Jafry, the mystery thriller is scheduled to release in theatres on August 27.
In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a man – Advocate Veer Sahay – who has a fascination for murder mysteries.
While Big B is one of the richest actors in Bollywood right now, did you guys know how much was his fee for ‘Chehre’? If this media report is believed to be true, the actor found the script so interesting that he refused to charge a single penny for his role.
Instead, the legendary actor has received the ‘Friendly Apperance’ credit for the film. Confirming the same, producer Anand Pandit informed the portal, “To avoid any trouble while filing the tax books we decided to give the friendly appearance credits to Amit Ji.”
The report further suggests that Big B has also paid for his travelling expense, a chartered flight that he used to fly to the foreign location for filming this movie. “Sir was so professional and committed that he also put his own money to commute,” he added.
Bankrolled by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited, the movie also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty in pivotal roles.
