Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezaan was recently seen in ‘Hungama 2′ which was released on 23rd July on Disney+Hotstar.
The film also co-starred Shilpa Shetty, who’s currently embroiled in controversy owing to her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest in the alleged porn films scandal.
The Priyadarshan directorial has unfortunately failed to make its mark at the box office. However, Meezaan it seems is ready to reunite with the filmmaker for yet another project.
As per the latest Bollywood Hungama report, Meezaan has apparently signed a cop thriller-murder mystery film with Priyadarshan. It will feature another male lead as well.
A source told the portal – “Unlike Hungama 2, this won’t have comedy but underlying suspense. There were recent reports that he is beginning the film in August and this is the project that was being talked about. Meezaan had signed the film, while he was wrapping up Hungama 2.”
The casting is yet to be fully locked. It is to be noted that this film is not to be confused with the film that Akshay Kumar is doing with Priyadarshan.
“His film with Akki will roll after he wraps this film and it’s anyway a quick film,” the source concluded.
