Currently, the alleged porn films scandal revolving around Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra continues to rage on in full steam in Bollywood.
Another trouble is looming on the horizon – it appears that Shilpa’s mother Sunanda Shetty has been allegedly cheated in a land deal!
As per HT report, Sunanda had accused one Sudhakar Ghare of duping her with fake papers. Sudhakar had sold her a Karjat plot in Raigad district for ₹1.6 crore and lied that the land belonged to him.
When she found out about the hoax, he threatened her saying he had political contacts. Shilpa’s mother then registered an FIR against Ghare with Juhu Police. He has been booked under IPC sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 409 (criminal breach of trust by agent), 420 (cheating), 462 (punishment for same offence when committed by person entrusted with custody), 467 (forgery), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 471 (fraudulent or dishonest use as genuine any document or electronic record which is forged) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
“We have registered the FIR and are now tracing Ghare who is absconding at present. We are also verifying the purchase documents submitted by Sunanda Shetty before the court,” said the police official.
Meanwhile, recently it came to light that SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) had fined Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra and his company Viaan Industries with 3 lakh for not complying with its regulations on insider trading.
Raj Kundra is challenging his arrest in Bombay High Court and is awaiting the verdict on his bail application currently.
