Challenging his arrest in the alleged porn films case, Shilpa Shetty‘s businessman husband Raj Kundra had filed a plea in the Bombay High Court.
As per a media report, Bombay HC will supposedly hear Raj’s bail plea on July 31.
Now, as per the latest TOI report, the actress has moved to Bombay HC and filed a defamation suit against 29 media personnel and media houses for allegedly publishing false and defamatory reports against her which are ‘maligning her image’.
The report further suggests that Shilpa has supposedly demanded an unconditional apology from certain media houses, deletion of all defamatory reports, and a compensation of Rs 25 CRORES! The court is said to be hearing the matter on July 30.
In her application, Shilpa has apparently claimed that her involvement in the said crime and investigation without verifying details has heavily damaged her character and reputation.
According to the ‘Hungama 2’ actress, she is being painted as a criminal and a woman who has abandoned her husband due to the ongoing criminal investigation ongoing against her husband.
As per the report, she further stated that the defamatory content has ‘maligned’ her image, including her children and family members. Not only that but it also cost her business and professional loss.
