Kriti Sanon was the 1st choice of the action thriller but she had to opt out due to date issues. Director Mohit Suri told the media – “Kriti also received offers for Housefull 4 and Panipat. She would have had to waste six months to be a part of my film, as I was figuring out the dates with other actors. Kriti really wanted to do Malang, but she had to let go of it and choose other films instead.”
4) Half Girlfriend
Kriti Sanon was the original choice for ‘Half Girlfriend’ which eventually went to Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor.
Kriti had to opt out owing to date issues and her prior commitment to the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Raabta’, as per Deccan Chronicle.
5) Singh Is Bliing
Kriti Sanon had to leave ‘Singh Is Bliing’ due to the delays in filming. According to NDTV report, the actress had even learnt a little bit of karate for the film, but alas!
“I hope I get an opportunity to work with Akshay Kumar”, Kriti had said, expressing regret. Amy Jackson ended up replacing her for the movie but Kriti did get the chance to work with Akshay in ‘Housefull 4’ later. They’re reuniting for ‘Bachchan Pandey’ too.
