Hungama 2 starring Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Pranitha Subhash and Meezan Jaffry has been released on Disney+ Hungama on the 23rd of July.
It’s a comedy film discussing the messy lives of four people, all with funny backstories.

Storyline
Vaani (Pranitha Subhash) is a single mother who suddenly takes on the challenge of introducing her little daughter to her ‘father’. The mother-daughter duo march their way towards Vaani’s college flame, Akash (Meezan Jaffry). However, Akash plainly denies the claim and refuses to believe Vaani.
In order to shush the topic, Akash approaches his colleague Anjali (Shilpa Shetty) to help him with the issue. In their lousy attempts to fool everyone, Anjali’s husband Radheshyam (Paresh Rawal) takes on a different approach to the scenario in front of him. Radheshyam somehow manages to find Anjali and Akash in the weirdest situations and assumes there is something going on between them.
What do we think?
Welcoming Shilpa Shetty back into films post a happy break, we feel the actress could have had better luck with another project. Shilpa’s acting was only sidelined by the nonsensical adaptation of the story. Paresh Rawal, being the comedy maestro he is, certainly has more films to be proud of. Despite being a pretty good actor, even in this film, we sadly just couldn’t bare it.
We’re not sure if Pranitha Subhash’s acting can be classified as really good or borderline overdone. Yes, she’s got notable works and we’re still waiting for her performance in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ but this one is a major nope for us. Meezan Jaffry, on the other hand, did do a good job. However, we feel his acting could have very well been sidelined too with how boring the movie was.
Hit or Miss?
Unfortunately, we’d have to go for a miss. We feel it’s a waste of talent to have such actors in a film like this.
