Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu never shies away to speak her heart out.
The actress is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Haseen Dillruba’ on Netflix on July 2.
Did you know she was once dropped from a film at the last minute that too without being informed? Though she didn’t name the movie, netizens were smart enough to decode that she was talking about being replaced by Bhumi Pednekar for the 2019 film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’.
Talking to the radio host Siddharth Kannan, Taapsee revealed that she had blocked her dates and was all set to start working on the film. Surprisingly, she got to know from the media reports that she was no longer a part of that film.
Talking about it, Taapsee revealed, “Mere saath hua hai. Bas taiyaar hoke nahi gayi thi, maine sirf dates di thi aur uske baad mujhe nikaal diya. I got to know through the media. (It happened to me. I didn’t get ready for the shoot, I just gave my dates, and then I was thrown out).”
“They called me and met me, not to say kyun bol rahe ho (why are you talking about it) and all, just to apologize. After I had spoken out, then they met me to apologize for it. But still, they were hesitant to reveal the real reasons ki aisa kyun kiya (why they replaced me),” she further added.
Earlier in 2019, after being abruptly removed from the comedy entertainer ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, Taapsee had called out the makers and slammed them for unprofessionalism.
