A Vinil Mathew directorial, Haseen Dillruba is all set to hit your screens at home on Netflix on the 2nd of July!
The film stars Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane, with whom Instant Bollywood had an exclusive chat to get scoop on the film!
Talking to Taapsee, we questioned her on how similar her real-life personality is to her characters. The actress replied, “Never choose from your children. I have given my characters a part of my heart and time which is never going to come back. So which has been closest to me personally, from the outside, is what I did in Manmarziyaan (Rumi Bagga). I am similar to Rumi but not as confused as her in real life.“
Being the King of versatility, we were curious to know if Vikrant ever felt pressured into performing his best always due to fans’ expectations.
The actor responded professionally saying, “It adds on to what I do. I am someone who has always enjoyed performing under pressure. I have waited for this all my life so if at all there are people who are expecting certain things in return for their time and money, I better deliver. That expectation is something that brings out the best in me. I would want that to continue because complacency is something that does seep in from time to time but these are the things that keep you energized. This also helps me challenge myself as an actor.”
Our favourite handsome hunk Harshvardhan has a thing for nature and we couldn’t help but ask him how it all started. Harsh says, “I think my father was responsible for this. We were brought up in a scenario where weekends were always outside the house. So the touch, smell, feel, everything around me is very familiar. Familiarity is what makes you comfortable. When I spoke to my sister at length a few years ago I discovered she is also crazy about it. Then we figured it all stems from our childhood.“
