Late Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is all set to make his acting debut with the Netflix film ‘Qala’.
Co-starring Tripti Dimri, the movie is produced by Anushka Sharma’s ‘Clean Slate Films’.
After ‘Qala’, what’s next? Well, looks like Babil is teaming up with Shoojit Sircar for an untitled project. While the details have been kept under wraps, the makers didn’t reveal whether it’s a movie or a web series.
Sharing the news of their collaboration with Babil, Sircar’s producing partner- Ronnie Lahiri took to Instagram and wrote, “Honored to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir. Worked with a legend like you, And now Babil. If this is not a providence, then what is?”
Meanwhile, the yet-to-be-titled project is backed by Lahiri and Sheel Kumar’s ‘Rising Sun Films Production’.
Irrfan Khan, who passed away on April 29, 2020, had worked with Shoojit Sircar in the 2015 film ‘Piku’, which also featured Amitabh Bachchan & Deepika Padukone.
