On Wednesday, Hrithik Roshan’s blockbuster superhero flick ‘Krrish’ clocked 15 years of its release.
Now, looks like our ‘Greek god’ is ready to get back in his leather coat-superhero mask avatar again.
While fans have been eagerly waiting for the fourth installment of the superhero franchise, Hrithik Roshan announced that ‘Krrish 4’ is finally on its way. Celebrating the 15-year milestone, the actor shared a short clip, wherein he can be seen in his iconic Krrish avatar throwing the signature mask at the screen.
Sharing the video on his social media handles, he wrote, “The past is done. Let’s see what the future brings. #15YearsOfKrrish #Krrish4.”
We also hear that ‘Jadoo’ from ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ might make a comeback in ‘Krrish 4’, in which Hrithik is said to be exploring time travel.
A source informed Pinkvilla, “The makers are trying to build the universe in a way that the world of ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and ‘Krrish’ come together. While the idea of bringing Jadoo back is in place, the makers have zeroed in on the concept of time travel for this one. Krrish as a franchise has a strong sci-fi backdrop and there has been a gradual significance of time through all the films. In Koi Mil Gaya, Rohit Mehra uses his father’s equipment to communicate with Jadoo, whereas in Krrish, Rohit himself develops a Time Travel Machine, the object of interest. Time travel will be key to the story of ‘Krrish 4’.”
‘Krrish’ (2006) was a sequel to ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ (2003), which was directed by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan, and was followed by ‘Krrish 3’ (2013).
