Kangana Ranaut has been known for her constant Twitter controversies.
Her Twitter account has now been PERMANENTLY suspended for violation of the platform’s ‘Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy’!
As per HT report, a Twitter person confirmed the permanent suspension of the Manikarnika actress’s account.
“We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behaviour that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service.”
Why Was It Suspended?
Talking about the violence that arose in Bengal after the election results, Kangana made a controversial post criticizing West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee as an ‘unleashed monster’ and even urged Narendra Modi to take his ‘Virat roop’ and tame her.
“This is horrible… we need super gundai to kill gundai… she is like an unleashed monster, to tame her Modi ji please show your Virat roop from the early 2000’s. #PresidentRuleIn Bengal,” she had tweeted.
Netizens believed she was referring to the 2002 Gujarat riots.
This is not the 1st time that her account was suspended. Previously, Twitter had taken action against the actor after she called for violence against the makers of the Tandav webseries.
