The talented Ayushmann Khurrana completes 9 YEARS in Bollywood today.
From Vicky Donor, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Article 15 to Andhadhun – he is known for picking clutter-breaking, content-oriented roles.
He made his Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor on April 20, 2012. The romantic comedy explored quite a taboo topic – sperm donation. Though the subject matter may have been… sticky… it definitely made Ayushmann’s career glide smoothly.

Did you know Ayushmann Khurrana is a REAL-LIFE VICKY DONOR? That’s right. When he and Vicky Kaushal had appeared on Koffee with Karan, KJO had asked Ayushmann if he had donated sperms for real –
Khurrana replied saying – “I have donated sperms for real and after I told this to director Shoojit Sircar, he fell off his chair!”
Moreover while talking to Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann had confessed that he had done sperm donation AS A ROADIES TASK.
“I won MTV Roadies season 2 in 2004. But while I was in it, there was a task given to us. It was sperm donation in Allahabad and I donated sperms back then in real life. Honestly, I’ve auditioned in real life (laughs)”
Hehehe…. Kudos to the actor!
On the work front, Ayushmann will next be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming thriller Anek. He also has Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with Vaani Kapoor. And Doctor G – wherein he plays a gynaecologist!
