Fans have been eagerly awaiting the Eid release of Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ since last year now.
This year, the makers decided to make good on the promise and had scheduled the film for a theatrical release on Eid – 13 May 2021.
However, given the Covid-19 scenario, the theatres which had briefly opened, have closed down again – and it is quite possible that ‘Radhe’ will miss the May release window unless the situation improves.
No matter what, Salman has promised exhibitors that Radhe won’t release on OTT but hit the theatres first. So if they miss the 13th May date, it looks like there is another plan up their sleeve.
As per Pinkvilla report, if postponed, Radhe might release on Bakri Eid weekend in July. A source revealed – “That’s exactly what Salman meant when he said, ‘Yeh Eid Nai, Toh Agle Eid Par Ayenge’. The makers have kept that option open and given the uncertain times, multiple plans are been churned out at the moment. It might release on July 16, to reap benefit of extended weekend, or be a mid-week release on occasion of Bakri Eid holiday on July 20/21. A final call on exact date isn’t taken, but they are looking at the Bakri Eid weekend to bring Radhe.”
Apart from Salman, Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff.
