Talking to Instant Bollywood, Prachi Desai had a lot to say about her and her previous accomplished work.
The beautiful actress spoke about her work experiences while shooting Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and what she’d like to steal from certain actors.
Prachi, talking about her favourite part about shooting ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, says, “The whole team that we worked with was so good! The songs were so beautiful, we had ‘Pee Loon’ and ‘Tum Jo Aaye’. Of course those days we didn’t have social media like we have now. We didn’t have smart phones. So wherever I went, whether it was a restaurant, the airport, wherever I went, they would start playing ‘Pee Loon’ on the speaker. It was so sweet, funny and embarrassing! The feel was just something else. Those days the connect used to be so different.”
Desai then spoke about her characters from previous accomplishments. “The toughest character I’ve played so far has to be the one in my daily soap because I was 17 and I had to play the older sister amongst 3 so I had to be such a responsible person. The easiest for me I feel is all my other characters because I feel there is some connect there. The role I played in I, Me Aur Mai was the most fun one because she was an incredibly fun person herself.”
We then asked her what she’d like to steal from certain actors in the industry. Prachi’s replies were, “I would like to steal some of Emraan Hashmi’s cars. I think he has a beautiful collection. From Manoj (Bajpai) sir I would just want to steal his acting skill! I would like to steal Alia Bhatt’s way of looking easily adorable and endearing without having to put in any effort. She is just adorable. I feel from Priyanka Chopra, I would want to steal her fearlessness, she is so confident. I am sure that confidence takes some fearlessness.”
“I would want to steal Ajay Devgn’s his dedication and his punctuality. Too many things from Deepika Padukone, firstly with her height. Then her grace, the way she conducts herself and how photogenic she is on camera. I would love to steal the way Ranbir Kapoor emotes with his eyes on camera. I definitely need Ranveer Singh’s energy and he keeps choosing roles that will shock you and is drastically different than the previous one,” she concluded.
