Last year, director Shashank Khaitan announced a new fun project with Varun Dhawan, titled ‘Mr. Lele’.
Unfortunately, the movie got shelved in March as Varun was reportedly not happy with the script.
However, as all of you know that the supremely-talented Vicky Kaushal has stepped in as the male lead in this Shashank Khaitan directorial.
As Filmfare reported earlier that actress Kiara Advani will be seen opposite the ‘Uri’ actor. Well, now, there has been a new addition to the cast of the upcoming comic thriller.
As per the latest Pinkvilla report, Bhumi Pednekar has supposedly joined the ‘Mr. Lele’ team.
According to the report, Vicky’s character reportedly has Maharashtrian shades to it, while Bhumi & Kiara’s character details have been kept under wraps. But it is said that both the actresses reportedly have strong characters with different edgy shades.
“It’s an exciting project bringing three young talents of Bollywood together. Bhumi has loved the way her character is written and hence, got back to the film yet again. Vicky too is looking forward to slip into the comic space with the film. It’s a one of its kind comic thrillers, and the team is all excited to start shooting very soon,” a source revealed to the portal.
Many of you don’t know that ‘Mr. Lele’ originally featured Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor earlier. But things didn’t work back then.
