After a raid conducted in the houses of Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap amongst many others, the Income Tax Department found irregularities worth crores of rupees.
The ITD reportedly had issues with ₹ 5 crores in cash received by Taapsee Pannu and ₹ 300 crores income by Anurag Kashyap’s former production house – Phantom Films.
Now, Taapsee Pannu has broken her silence on the raid and multiple allegations directed towards her in a series of tweets. Pannu, taking a dig at the Finance Minister – Nirmala Sithamaran, clarifies that no bungalow under her list of properties exists in Paris and she also mentions that there was no raid conducted in her house in the year 2013.
In her first tweet Taapsee mentions, “3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily – 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner.“
Continuing the thread she says, “2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before.”
Finally her third comment, “3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister. P.S- “not so sasti” anymore.”
