Rhea Chakraborty has been in the news since the untimely demise of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The ‘Jalebi’ actress, along with her family, had faced online hatred and media trials.
However, it was said the Rhea was looking forward to making a comeback in the industry with Rumi Jaffery’s upcoming mystery thriller movie titled ‘Chehre’, starring Big B & Emraan Hashmi.
But Rhea’s name has been blocked from the movie poster and reportedly wasn’t even tagged by any of her co-stars when they shared it.
Fans and social media users also noticed her absence from the poster. Have a look:
Reportedly, a close friend to Rhea told a portal, “Not even in her wildest dream had she anticipated this snub. After all that she had gone through in 2020, she was somehow trying to piece together her life again…only to be rudely awakened to this. She is not welcome in Bollywood; it seems.”
Now, Rhea’s fans and the industry’s prominent filmmakers have come out in support of the actress after she has been cropped out from the movie poster.
Meanwhile, as reported by Spotboye, several prominent filmmakers are willing to work with Rhea Chakraborty.
“Of course, I want to work with her. She is pretty and talented. And now people want to see her. I don’t mind working with her even if she’s out on bail. If Sanjay Dutt could be so busy during his bail phase why can’t this girl work? She and her poor family has gone through a lot. All the pain would make her a better actress than she was a year ago,” a well-known filmmaker told the portal.
While talking about this, ‘Chehre’ director Rumi revealed, “I have throughout maintained she’s an innocent victim. She and her family didn’t deserve this. Her father has served the country for years. I worked with her before all this (the tragic aftermath of Sushant’s death) in ‘Chehre’. I was going to shoot a love story in London with Sushant and Rhea for producer Vashu Bhagnani after the lockdown. But God had other plans.”
“But I will work with her for sure. She deserves another chance. She is talented and beautiful and she’s gone through a lot,” he further added.
