The highly-anticipated action flick ‘Mumbai Saga’ became the talk-of-the-town since day one.
This Sanjay Gupta directorial, starring John Abraham & Emraan Hashmi, will hit the theatres on March 19.
Today afternoon, the ‘Mumbai Saga’ makers have dropped the much-awaited trailer of the gangster drama.
The 3-minute-long trailer opens with John Abraham’s character Amartya Rao beating up goons and asking vendors not to pay ‘hafta’ to them. Check it out:
Sharing the trailer on his Instagram account, John Abraham captioned it, “Bandook Toh Sirf Shauk Ke Liye Rakhta Hoon, Darrane Ke Liye Naam Hi Kaafi Hai – Amartya Rao!” Well, the quote is one of his dialogues from ‘Mumbai Saga’.
While talking to NDTV, director Sanjay has called this actioner flick his “most ambitious film” till now.
“25 years, 17 films later I had to give my audience something bigger and better. ‘Mumbai Saga’ is by far my most ambitious film which needed a visionary producer. And I am grateful to Bhushan Kumar for putting his faith and might in it. It is one story that needs to be said on screen,“ he said.
Set in the ’80s, ‘Mumbai Saga’ will showcase the city’s transition from Mumbai to Goa.
