Seems like 2021 is going to be a better year with the releases of several interesting movies.
Bollywood buffs can’t keep calm since the ‘100% in cinema halls’ news came out.
A few hours ago, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media account to announce the confirmed theatrical release dates of two Bollywood A-listers starrer movies.
Amitabh Bachchan starrer biographical sports-drama ‘Jhund’ is all set to hit theatres on June 18, while Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan & Dhanush starrer romantic drama ‘Atrangi Re’ will now release in theatres on 6th August.
Directed by Marathi blockbuster movie ‘Sairat’ fame Nagraj Manjule, ‘Jhund’ is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO Slum Soccer.
While Big B will be seen as Vijay Barse, this film will also mark the Bollywood debut of ‘Sairat’ couple Akash Thosar & Rinku Rajguru. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in May last year, but due to Covid-19, it couldn’t happen.
Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan & Dhanush starrer much-awaited movie ‘Atrangi Re’, directed by Anand L. Rai, is reportedly a ‘cross-cultural love story’.
Earlier, as reported by Bollywood Hungama, the plot of this movie has a feel to Dhanush-Sonam Kapoor- Abhay Deol starrer triangular love story ‘Raanjhanaa’.
According to the report, Sara will be seen essaying the role of Dhanush’s wife but eventually will fall in love with Akshay, who plays the character of a carefree guy in this movie.
