The talented & gorgeous Deepika Padukone is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood.
She made her Hollywood debut with ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’ opposite Vin Diesel in 2017.
Seems like Deepika Padukone is all set for her second International venture. Yes, you heard it right!
According to a Deadline report, the ‘Padmavat’ actress has signed with the US-based talent agency ICM Partners, which represents many famous Hollywood celebrities like Ian Somerhalder, John Cena, Regina King, and Lena Condor, amongst others.
The ICM’s website reads, “We represent Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award-winning actors, including some of the biggest and most respected stars in Hollywood. Our clients include some of the greatest character actors of their generation and the freshest faces to burst upon the scene in motion pictures, television, and on stage.”
DP is also represented in the US by Danielle Robinson at Alan Siegel Entertainment.
Earlier, in an interview with HT, Deepika talked about not signing any Hollywood movie since ‘xXx’. “I don’t look or evaluate films as Indian or international, but as a medium where I can express myself. If that opportunity is out of India, great. If that is out of the United States or another part of the world, I am happy to explore that too. For me, it’s always been content,” she said.
“I did Xander Cage because it was an extremely powerful, strong character to play. Eventually, it’s about the character and role, and of course, the film. It’s not like I’m actively seeking something in Hollywood. Whether India or any other part in the world, great content is what I seek,” Deepika added.
Meanwhile, Deepika has some interesting projects lined up, which includes Kabir Khan’s ’83, Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, Pathan with SRK-John, Shakun Batra’s untitled movie, amongst others.
