Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became proud parents to a baby girl on 11th January 2021.
Ever since the joyous news broke out, fans have been striving to get a glimpse of the couple’s little angel.
Many photoshopped/fake images started surfacing as everyone took to Google to find the baby’s photo. Even Virat’s brother Vikas Kohli had to clarify that the pic he’d posted to welcome the birth of his niece was taken randomly from the Internet and not the actual baby photo!
Though the cricketer and the actress are overjoyed at the warm wishes and welcome, they’ve now made a strong appeal to the paparazzi to refrain from photographing their daughter as they seek to protect her privacy.
As reported by TOI – the official statement issued by Virushka reads –
“Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support.
While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same.”
