After lockdown, the multi-talented Ayushmann Khurrana has been signing back-to-back movies.
Now, the actor is reportedly all set to reunite with his ‘Article 15’ director-Anubhav Sinha.
According to PeepingMoon, Ayushmann will be essaying the role of a spy in Anubhav Sinha‘s upcoming action-thriller. This yet-to-be-titled movie, which is supposedly inspired by a true event, will go on floors in January’s 3rd week.
A source revealed to PeepingMoon that while the movie is set-in North-East India, this spy thriller is neither a highly political drama nor a creature film.
“However, like Article 15 that shone a light on caste-based crimes and discrimination, this film would also have political overtones. Yash Keswani and Sima Agarwal of ‘Khali Peeli’ fame have written the script inspired by a true event,” the source further stated.
Apparently, the ‘Vicky Donor’ actor is back in Mumbai to start prepping for this movie. While the casting & plot details are kept under wraps, this movie will be reportedly shot in a jungle near Mumbai.
The filming of this untitled movie, which was postponed due to the Covid-19, is scheduled to have a two-month start-to-finish schedule.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann recently completed the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. He also announced his next movie titled ‘Doctor G’ with Junglee Pictures Production. Ayushmann will be essaying the role of a gynecologist.
