01. Shuddhi
As per Life N’ Lessons, Deepika chose Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani over Shuddhi. The film Shuddhi is still tangled in production issues while Bajirao Mastani was released in the year 2015.
02. Sultan
Deepika Padukone had once expressed the desire to work with Salman Khan. However, when she got an offer to work opposite Salman in Sultan, Padukone turned it down for another film.
03. Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Deepika had rejected Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan, too. Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma finally ended up as the actresses opposite to SRK in the film.
04. Fast & Furious 7
The actress chose ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Ram-Leela’ over the popular F&F franchise. However, she did work with Vin Diesel in the Hollywood film XXX: Return Of Xander Cage.
05. Dhoom 3
Katrina Kaif’s role in Dhoom 3 had initially been offered to Deepika. The actress, however, declined this, too. Deepika has chosen to stick to filming with only Shah Rukh till now, rejecting offers across both Salman and Aamir.
06. Roy
Deepika didn’t sign another film with her ex Ranbir Kapoor again. The actress turned down Roy, and her rejection turned into Jacqueline Fernandez’s gain, who was cast opposite to Ranbir in the film.
07. Kick
Deepika missed out on the opportunity of becoming a Salman Khan heroine yet again. After she rejected the project, Jacqueline Fernandez was signed for the flick which turned out to be huge grosser on the box office.
08. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Apart from Sultan and an item song in Kick, Deepika ended up rejecting Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, too. And yes, this too, stars Salman Khan in the lead.
