Deepika Padukone looks all set to visit the most busiest phase of her career, starting January 2021.
Deepika’s list of upcoming films is probably the longest amid the female actors, at par with Akshay Kumar. Let’s take a look at her 2021 movie list below:
1- Shakun Batra film with Ananya and Siddhant
Deepika Padukone is currently busy wrapping up her shoot for Shakun Batra’s next alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey. This movie is supposed to be a relationship drama. The major portion of this movie is supposed to be completed in the next two weeks. Deepika might reunite with Shakun Batra in January to shoot a song.
2- Pathan
While shooting for Shakun Batra’s next, Deepika Padukone took some time out to shoot for Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan‘. After wrapping up the shoot with Shakun Batra, Deepika will fly to Abu Dhabi with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The team will be shooting for some intense action sequences there which also include Deepika, as she plays an undercover agent.
3- Remake of Hollywood Movie ‘The Intern’s
Deepika Padukone will start shooting for the remake of famous American comedy movie ‘The Intern’ from Mid-2021. INTERN is an intimate, relationship-driven film, set in and around the workplace; a story that I believe is very relevant to the present-day social and cultural environment. Deepika Padukone will be enacting the role of Anne Hathaway. The film was also supposed to star the Late actor, Rishi Kapoor.
4- Mahabharat Trilogy as Draupadi
At the end of the year 2021, Deepika Padukone will start shooting for the period epic, Mahabharat. Deepika plays the role of Draupadi and will get into extensive prep for it, before rolling it by early 2022. She will devote almost half the year to it.
5- Nag Ashwin Film with Prabhas
In the first quarter of 2021, Deepika Padukone will start shooting for Nag Ashwin’s next directorial with Prabhas. This movie is futuristic sci-fi with a lot of thrills and she will also be seen performing some daredevil stunts.
6- Special appearance in ’83
In 2021, you will also see Deepika Padukone in Ranveer Singh’s ’83. She is making a special appearance in the movie and the shooting for that part has already been completed.
