There have been lots of talks regarding Karan Johar’s viral house-party video that he shared in 2019.
On Thursday, the Narcotics Control Bureau summoned Karan for questioning over his last year’s house party and the viral video.
As per Mumbai Mirror, the director-producer has reportedly denied any consumption of drugs at the party hosted by him at his house last year. He also has supposedly submitted some documents and a pen drive to the agency today.
“In the reply, Karan maintained that no drugs were consumed at the party,” an NCB official informed.
The anti-drug agency asked Karan to submit the details of that party which was attended by several A-listed B-Town celebs. Karan was asked by the NCB officials to ‘explain the details of the video’ by Friday (December 18).
The notice was sent to Karan in response to the complaint filed by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa accusing the celebs of consuming drugs in the party hosted at Johar’s residence in 2019.
Karan was reportedly summoned under 67(B) of the NDPS Act which doesn’t require physical appearance, but the person in question has to co-operate with the investigating agency.
