Despite facing hardships, the farmers are continuing to protest against the farm laws brought in by the Central Government.
While many celebrities have come out in their support, some are favoring the farm laws.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Bollywood actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol’s security has been intensified days he supported the Central government over the new farm laws.
The Central government has now provided the 64-year-old actor Y-category security of 11 personnel, comprising two commandos and policemen.
On 6th December, Sunny, the MP from Gurdaspur, took to Twitter and posted that people were trying to stir trouble and the matter should be kept between the farmers and government.
“I know that many people want to take advantage of the situation and are creating problems. They are not thinking of farmers. They may have their own agenda. I stand with my party and farmers and will always be with farmers,” the actor tweeted.
He further wrote, “Our government always thinks of the betterment of farmers and I am sure that the government will ensure the right outcome after holding talks with farmers.”
After Sunny Deol’s tweet, his father and veteran actor Dharmendra, who has been appealing to the government to resolve the issues of farmers at the earliest, also posted on Twitter.
“I am extremely in pain to see the suffering of my farmer brothers. Government should do something fast,” the 84-year-old actor wrote.
Earlier in September, actress Kangana Ranaut was provided Y-Plus category security over her spat with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.
