Badass Katrina Kaif is all set to headline Bollywood’s first female superhero movie!
And interestingly, this superheroine will be flying solo without any romance! Finally, to abate some of fans’ curiosity, the title of the movie has been unveiled.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, this upcoming superhero flick has been titled ‘Super Soldier’. Now, that’s a strong and fierce name indeed.
For this women-centric superhero actioner, Katrina will be prepping diligently to get into character and undergo extensive martial arts training. Currently in the pre-production stage, the project is being helmed by director Ali Abbas Zafar, who worked with Kaif previously for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
Ali Abbas Zafar had previously said, “Well, I don’t need a man opposite Katrina in this film. She herself is the hero as well. This film will be mounted on a huge scale and will be very new and different. Katrina won’t have a romantic track in it.”
Promising a lavish scale, the makers have finalised Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Poland, Georgia, and Uttarakhand as shoot locations. Super Soldier will go on floors next year after Katrina Kaif completes Phone Bhoot and Tiger 3.
