While shooting for Anjana Safar opposite star Vishwajeet Chatterjee, Rekha was just 15 years old. During the first schedule of the movie, the director decided to shoot the romantic scenes first.

Rekha was completely unaware of the same and as soon as the director said action, Vishwajeet started kissing her forcefully.

Rekha tried really hard to get rid of him, however as the actor clutched her really tight she was unable to do so. In the act, the crew was booing, cheering and whistling at the entire scene. Completely confused about how to react in the situation Rekha sobbed endlessly for hours later.
