After the Covid-19 break, Salman Khan returned to the sets with a lot of things in his kitty like Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai, Bigg Boss, Tiger 3 and is now working on Mahesh Manjrekar‘s Hindi remake of Marathi film Mulshi Pattern.
This movie was initially titled Guns Of North, has been renamed Antim signifying the end of gangsters.
This movie will see Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma share screen space for the very first time. A source close to the film revealed that Salman and Mahesh were discussing the story line for quiet some time and have decided to tweak it a bit for the pan-India audience. The confrontation scenes between Salman and Aayush have increased.
Salman Khan will be seen playing a cop while Aayush is a gangster in this gangster drama that will kickstart in Mumbai on November 15 this year.
A source says “A major chunk of the film is set in a village which will be recreated at a studio. Some of the action scenes featuring Salman will be shot at a city studio. He will be shooting till January 2021.”
It was rumored a while ago that Salman Khan has opted out of the project but the source said after discussions and script meetings, the team locked a story that does justice to Salman’s role in the movie.
“Over the last few weeks, after several script meetings at his Panvel farmhouse during which various adaptations were considered, the team has locked a version which can justify Salman’s presence and he’s back in the picture. Now, his character is very important to the narrative. It will present him in a new avatar, more real, intense and raw, along with his usual herogiri,” the source said.
